TO ENTER A FILM FOR THE JULY 19 SHOW:

1. Entry fee - none (but you are expected to order something to eat)

2. Submit your film on a DVD

3. Deadline to submit film for July 19 2009 festival is July 17. Drop DVD at a DVD Drop box at Frankie Johnnie luigi's on Dublin Blvd. Dublin.

4. Other DVD drop-off boxes for the festival are located at

Frankie, Johnnie & Luigis's on Dublin Blvd in Dublin

5. You may submit more than one film but more than one may be shown only if time permits.

6. Your DVD should have your name and phone numer on it with felt-tip pen.

7. Fill in and submit the online registration form at the bottom of this page or print it out and deposit with the DVD.

 

GUIDELINES:

1. Film entrant must be between the ages of 15 & 21. Younger and older age filmmakers will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

2. Film entrant: The film must be produced, scripted, filmed, acted, and edited primarily by you and/or your friends also between the ages of 15 to 21. A minimul degree of adult guidance is acceptable.

3. The maximum length is 10 minutes. CAN NOT BE LONGER. May be as short as you want.

4. May be any category (see registration form below).

6. Content: There are 2 levels of content.

  • The Film Festival: for younger persons, no foul language, etc.
  • The Film Showcase: for older folks, may contain some adult language.

Content may be mature, but cannot be vulgar. In other words, curse words may be okay, but no sexual material or "hate" messages. Subject to these rules the festival recognizes any producer's First Amendment right of Freedom of Speech.

7. Content should be in English but foreign language with sub-titles accepted.
