COURSE AT-A-GLANCE

A 32 - hour sequential online course, presented in 1-hour sessions, to familiarize and train attorneys, law students, paralegals, and other professionals in consumer bankruptcy law and practice. Each session is on-demand to accomodate a busy lawyer's schedule.

The course will eventually be offered on-site as well.

The title of this course is Fundamentals of Consumer Bankruptcy Law & Practice. It is a skills-based course designed to take the novice attorney, or the veteran looking to improve his or her professional skills, through a comprehensive course from A-to-Z, leading to Academy Certification.

You will receive the password on your screen upon completion of your online enrollment; you click on the course title and a page pops up with the password and instructions. The password will be good to replay any session at any time (currently no limitations on repeat viewings).

The course objectives are to train you in both the law and procedure, and also the development and management of a consumer bankruptcy practice. Includes the separate course for paralegals on how to fill out the bankruptcy forms, using checklists, and assisting attorney's due diligence.
