STEPS TO ENTER A FILM FOR THE JUNE 9
SHOWCASE:
1. Copy your
film onto a DVD or flash drive
2. Make every
effort to get your work submitted by May 20;
films submitted after that may not permit
sufficient for the Board to review prior to
showing.
3. Clearly
label the DVD or flash drive with your name and
film title (felt tip pen o.k.)
4. There are
two drop-off locations. Drop the device into the
DROP BOX at the
Dublin
Public Library
or at Dublin
High School Room
P6
(Mitch Eason's media arts classroom). Be sure to
label it and also do the
film
submit form
(see link below).
5. Fill in
the FILM
SUBMIT/REGISTRATION
FORM
online and hit "Submit" at the bottom of the
form
6. If you
plan to attend, or bring friends, reserve your
seats ($5).

GUIDELINES:
1.
Film entrant must be primarily amateur film
makers. This includes script-writing, film
editing, camera work, acting, technical support,
etc. A
minimul degree of professional guidance or
teaching is acceptable. For example, the film
may be a project assigned in a media arts
class.
3.
The desired length is 10-15 minutes.
CAN
BE LONGER.
May be as short as you want.
4.
May be any category -

out the FILM
SUBMIT/REGISTRATION FORM
).
5.
Content: There are 2 levels of content.
- The Film
Festival: for younger persons, no foul
language, etc.
- The Film
Showcase: for older folks, may contain some
adult language.
Content
may be mature, but cannot be vulgar. In other
words, curse words may be okay, but no "adult"
sexual material, "hate" messages, or gratuitious
and graphic violence. Subject to these rules the
festival recognizes any producer's First
Amendment right of Freedom of
Speech.
6. Content
should be in English but foreign language with
sub-titles accepted.
7. Target
deadline for submission is May
20.
